The short version
JT DBVault runs entirely on your own computers. Your databases, backups and credentials never
pass through our servers. We have no access to your data.
What the application stores locally
- Job configuration and connection credentials — stored on your machine in
C:\ProgramData\JTDBVault, passwords encrypted with Windows DPAPI.
- Backup files — stored only in the destinations you configure.
- Run logs — stored locally; sent only to the email recipients you configure.
What this website collects
- Standard web-server access logs (IP address, user agent) retained for security purposes.
- We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to understand aggregate site usage. Google Analytics
sets cookies and processes your IP address; see
Google’s privacy policy.
You can opt out with the
GA opt-out browser add-on.
- The language preference is stored in your browser (localStorage) only.
Purchases
License purchases are processed by our payment provider; we receive your name, email and the
license purchased in order to deliver the key and provide support.
